Presently purchases can be made via phone, e-mail or fax. Please be sure to check our availability to see if we have the animal(s) you are interested in. Although the availability of animals fluctuates, we maintain a stock of all of our products throughout the year. For your safety we ask that you do not send credit card numbers via e-mail. If you write to us via e-mail, please be sure to include a contact phone number.

If for some reason you do not wish to use PayPal, please tell us in what way you would like to complete your order using the "Special Delivery Information" section of the shopping cart. Aside from PayPal we can process credit cards through our office (delivery immediate upon approval), accept cashier's checks/money orders (delivery upon receipt of check) and accept personal checks (delay of 7-10 days, delivery upon check clearance).

All of our animals are sent via overnight delivery via UPS Next Day Air. The cost for this service varies, but is usually between $35.00 to $40.00. We ship animals Monday-Thursday for next day delivery (Tuesday-Friday). Please be sure to let us know what day you would like to receive your animal(s). Live arrival can only be guaranteed when transit temperatures are above 40 degrees and below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Products can be shipped Monday-Friday. Products are shipped by UPS ground unless other arrangements are made. Sandfire Dragon Ranch will not be responsible for carrier delays. All claims resulting from carrier errors are to be directed to the delivery company and not Sandfire Dragon Ranch. In order to save on shipping costs, all non living items are sent via ground. If you would like to have your purchase sooner, expedited shipping is available for an extra cost.

CHRISTMAS NOTE: Our experience has proven all couriers to be extraordinarily unreliable in the week immediately preceeding Christmas, and therefore we no longer ship animals during this week. Please recognize that while inconvenient, this is for the safety of the animals.

Sandfire Dragon Ranch guarantees all of our animals will arrive alive and healthy. As mentioned above, live arrival can only be guaranteed when transit temperatures are above 40 degrees and below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. All live animal deliveries must be signed for and received by the customer or our guarantee is void.

Sandfire Dragon Ranch guarantees the health of all of our lizards for 48 hours. Frogs are guaranteed live arrival only. Notice of dissatisfaction or DOAs must be received within 24 hours of receipt of shipment. Any DOA animals must be kept until further notice.

We also want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied with anything you receive from us, we will gladly replace it or provide store credit upon the return of the animal or product to us. Reading materials are not returnable. Sandfire Dragon Ranch will not be responsible for additional shipping costs for returned or replacement animals or products.

Please note that we are unable to guarantee hatchling bearded dragon colors. We do guarantee the lineage of your dragon which gives you the best possible chance of obtaining the color morph you want, but nature plays a big role too. The coloration of bearded dragons depends on far too many variables for us to be able to guarantee the coloring of a dragon for months and years to come. Dull dragons may develop brilliant colors and vibrantly colored individuals may dull over time. All of our hatchling dragons have been raised outside in natural sunlight for a minimum of thirty days before they are available for sale. In addition, our dragons are raised on our specially formulated Sandfire bearded dragon diets, greens, superworms and crickets to ensure the best possible nutrition.

Please recognize that this is a working breeding facility. While it is our intention to provide you with all of the information you need about an animal or purchase, we are unable to be in the office all day and properly care for the tens of thousands of animals that we raise here at the same time. We have worked extraordinarily hard at providing the best information possible about our animals on our Web site (most retail Web sites list little more than a picture, a name and a price), so please take the time to READ it! The best way to correspond with us is via Email because it allows us to respond to you as time presents itself throughout the day (different each day and every day). If you write to us during the week we will try to respond within 48 hours. On the off chance that you do have an emergency, BY ALL MEANS CALL US and we will respond promptly.

We often receive requests for adult bearded dragons. While we have in the past sold adult or sub-adult dragons, we do not sell high color adult breeder dragons. The reason is that our high color adult breeders are the results of several decades of careful and selective breeding, colony hold-backs and naturally, some chance. Not only do these dragons represent 20+ years of effort, they are our own breeding stock and generate significant income for us. Please recognize that our breeding stock is a significant part of our livelihood and therefore is not for sale.

If you are interested in the fabled "blue" crested gecko, we're sorry, but the title is accurate--blue crested geckos remain a fable. If you are certain that they exist because of a picture that you saw in a 2003 Reptiles Annual, accept our apologies. The picture from the 2003 Reptiles Annual was taken right here at the Ranch and through an unintentional photographic anomaly, the center gecko appeared more blue than it truly is. We have the largest collection of crested geckos in the world and "blue" cresteds just don't exist...yet.

As much as we would like to be able to have visitors at the Ranch the obligations of thousands of animals and liability concerns make this simply unfeasible. If you really want to see us or to personally choose your animal, we work in conjunction with a local nature center and we are at the IRBA San Diego shows and the National Breeder's Expo Florida show in Daytona Beach.
